Berkeley Heights GOP Mission
The Berkeley Heights Republican Municipal Committee “BHRMC” recruits and supports qualified, dedicated candidates for the Berkeley Heights Town Council and engages with Berkeley Heights residents to better understand their concerns and provide a platform for an inclusive discussion of local and state issues – all with the goal of advancing the best interests of Berkeley Heights.

Safe Community - so that all Berkeley Heights
residents may enjoy living in a safe community, where they may build supportive relationships and freely engage with neighbors, community organizations and elected leadership.
Strong Infrastructure - where residents may rely on a well-maintained town infrastructure, which is part of a cohesive plan to best serve Berkeley Heights residents, support strong home values, and ensure the affordability and long-term vitality of our Township.
Transparent and efficient governing - Residents should expect principled, transparent and efficient governance utilizing relevant best practices, including responsible and strategic spending on town priorities.
Our Accomplishments
Accomplished in the last three years:
- Over $925,000 in state grants for the planned Sherman Avenue revitalization project
- Sidewalk down Plainfield Avenue; $1,858,000 Safe Routes to School grant from the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) to improve and/or add 2.4 miles of sidewalks on Mountain Avenue.
